I could tell Ethan was nervous long before he asked me to marry him. His hands were shaking. He kept smiling, then looking away, as if he was trying to remember something important. When he finally opened the velvet Caseire ring box, he completely forgot the speech he'd spent weeks preparing.

For a second, we both laughed.

Then he looked into my eyes. He didn't need perfect words. The love I saw on his face told me everything I needed to know.

That little ring marked the beginning of our forever, and it's still one of my favorite memories.
